WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
…get to know Simone Valle
Inspiration As a young girl, I was introduced to photography by my father. I would eagerly follow and learned from him how to capture the best moments with a camera. When I was six years old my father gave me my first camera, a 35mm film camera in which I still proudly possess.
Background My mother is Portuguese and my father is Italian and they met in Brazil. I grew up in a small town near São Paulo, Brazil. As a young girl, I loved being outdoors and riding my bicycle seeing all the colors and excitement of the world around me. By the age of 15, my passion for photography continued to grow as my horizons widen when I studied in California at Santa Rosa High School. Upon returning to Brazil, I found myself being asked by my friends to take pictures of them at parties and special events.
When I was 18 years old I attended PUC University in São Paulo where I studied and received a degree in Business Administration. Immediately following I achieved a Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing from ESPM University. After graduation, I worked for a private marketing department for many years handling advertising materials, media, publicity, campaigns, promotions and trade fairs.
Following the birth of my third child, I decided to stop working in the private sector and focused my attention towards my passion and attended my first photography class at Escola Panamericana de Artes in São Paulo.
Hobbies I love outdoor activities and riding my bike. Also, I love to take pictures of sporting events including Triathlons and Ironman competitions.
Volunteering and Accomplishments I enjoy volunteering within the local community ranging from school activities to local events held in the community center. I have been recognized with several awards in advertising from my past career.
Purpose Photography is my passion. Whether capturing moments of celebrations, events, people, landscapes, and sports… I feel I can present these memories and the true connection that exists through the lens of a camera. My experience and knowledge will allow people to relate and appreciate each moment. Ultimately, I want to make a difference in people’s lives and provide them with memories that they can hold in their hearts forever and pass them onto future generations.
Outlook for the Future My passion is to make a difference in the world and to bring joy through photography for the rest of my life. I love taking outdoor pictures but I will have a studio for those who prefer inside photography. Finally, the enjoyment I receive from my passion continues to grow through the support and love from my husband, boys, and family.
